Some time ago, not even sure how many moons, I had a really great HS friend send me an Insta DM telling me I should link up with a friend of hers. She didn’t really give a reason other than that we had good energy worth exchanging and like interests–so we deserved to know each other. That’s how I met Melissa, the mastermind and artiste behind Abeille Creations. At the time, Melissa’s reputation was one of which I was familiar with. She’s an alumna of FAMU and with many Fam grads as friends, I’d heard about and seen some of her fab headwraps.
After exchanging DMs and texts with, I was like whew–I really dig this woman. She was/is inspiring to say the least. So when Melissa started to expand the Abeille line, I most def copped her beautiful merch like this bomb matching set.
