I have to let you ladies (and gents) in on a secret. Come in close, and while you’re at it–get a peek at this. See that? Yes, it’s a new timepiece and it is a new favorite of mine. My new wooden watch from JORD. Everyone knows that I am constantly talking about Atlanta’s crazy weather. It’s cool and breezy one day, blazing hot another, and storming another. It’s hard to keep up. But this JORD watch is so amazing because it goes with everything–easily becoming my go-to transition piece!
I’m having a hard time not wearing this watch every day. Good problem to have, right? I have to be honest, besides this watch being flat out attractive, ultra lightweight, and unique–what I love most about it is that it compliments my skin. As a brown-skin girl, I don’t run into this often, putting on an accessory that seems made for my complexion. But that’s what I’ve found with this JORD watch, and that’s one of the top reasons I’m digging it. I truly believe, however, the grain of the wood would pop against any tone! Trust me.

I’ve already styled it 1,000 times and I’m looking forward to seeing what else it works with. I hate to be gushing over this, but when you find a great addition to your accessories collection–you kind of want to tell the world.
Another cool thing about my new JORD watch is its packaging. It came in this beautiful wooden box that I can use as a keepsake. I plan to get good use out of it, especially when I travel. Altogether, it just gives me a luxe feel and I’m always in a mood for that. I’m currently trying to decide on which watch I want next. I have my eyes on another of their wood watches that has a rose gold face. Yes, honey–it’s as fabulous as it sounds too!
