So I was strolling along in one of my favorite stores the other day and came across this super cute duster/jacket/longline vest combo. Favorite store, you ask? Oh…just Target–pronounced Tar-jhay for the refined among us. Anyhow, the price was so right on this olive green piece so I picked it up and begin thinking of ways to style it asap.
It didn’t take me much at all. I love the long lines on this vest/duster and even more, I love the light feel of the fabric. As you have heard me say before–olive green is one of my fave colors to wear! While I worked it this time with white skinny jeans and a white tank, I can’t wait to throw this on over a pencil dress or with denims and a diff tank! Whew, the options are endless!
If you can’t tell, this item is belted, which gives it that sleeveless trench feel. And who doesn’t love the sophistication of a trench?
I added some punchy arm candy (MK watch, BCBG & Lucky Brand bracelets) and my favorite tie-up snakeskin pumps from seasons of old. Actually, most of this outfit is old. This is what shopping your closet does for you! Anyhow, this is a fave, simple look of mine–further proof that it doesn’t take much to “own your fly.”
